Implemented project – Kiserian WaterKiosk®
Kiserian is a town located in Kajiado County. It is inhibited with the maasai community. Their main economic activity is buying and selling of livestock. Due to urbanization, the area now has people from different communities conducting different activities.
Water has been a greatest challenge to them. The available sources are salty and contaminated.
Kiserian Waterkiosk is delivering 20,000 liters of clean hygiene drinking water per day from a borehole. A 9.8kW of solar array is powering the entire system and its operation.
