Potable water at the hotel - Wajir 6 WaterKiosk®
Wajir six WaterKiosk is located along the perimeter wall of Grand Oasis hotel in Wajir town. Due to high demand of fresh drinking water, the plant was installed to help meet the demand in the region. Most of the wells that the residents depend on for their daily use are saline and contaminated making them unfit for human health.
The installation of the desalination plant that has a capacity to produce 20,000 liters of water per day, made it easy for the residents to have access to hygiene water at an affordable cost. The plant is powered by a 9.3kW solar array
