Water in the market place -Wajir 5/Suray

Wajir Five WaterKiosk was installed to ease the accessibility of fresh water to Wajir town residents. The presence of fresh hygiene drinking water gave the residents hope. Wajir is among the marginalized communities in Kenya with minimal development as compared to other communities.

In the recent past, fresh water was a rare commodity in that locality, but after WaterKiosk planted the desalination system, it has become affordable and accessible to all the residents in that region. The plant can desalinate up to 20,000 liters of water in one day, hence meeting the demand
