24/7 drinking water supply - Naivasha Kayole
Naivasha is one of the largest town in Nakuru county mostly known for tourism with a population of over 200,000. Locals depend on borehole water for all their activities, which is salty and contaminated. The presense of lake Naivasha doesn’t easen the challenge of availability water. The lake is contaminated with fluorides among other contaminants.
Naivasha waterkiosk® is located in Kayole, 500metres from Nakuru-Nairobi highway. The Waterkiosk has an installed capacity of 20,000litres per day and is run by a 9.8kW solar array mounted on the rooftop of the Kiosk.
