24/7 water supply- Samburu

Samburu is a village located in Kwale County, Kenya.  Lack of water supply in the area, has caused them untold hardship, from children not attending to school, to women spending a lot of time in search of water.

Samburu Waterkiosk is delivering 50,000 liters of clean hygiene drinking water per day. The system is installed in a Muslim centre and is powered by solar panels mounted on top of the Mosque. Residents can access the system at any time of the day.
